چکیده
Methods The study included 407 non-pregnant women with high risk for toxoplasmosis, presented to the Infectious Diseases Clinic in Oradea in the period 01.01.2009-31.12.2012. By MEIA (Microparticle Enzyme Immunoassay) performed in Bioclinica laboratories, values of Toxoplasma IgM and IgG antibodies were determined and by EIA (Enzyme Immunoassay), the values of IgA Toxoplasma antibodies, as well as the dynamic tracing of their evolution over a period of 12 month.

Although often considered as "begnin", acute infections in young healthy adults can lead to heart inflammation, including acute myocarditis. We report a rare case of myopericarditis in a young immunocompetent adult, in the context of recent toxoplasmosis infection. Clinical presentation was common acute pericarditis, but with risk biomarkers: high troponin I levels and multiple inflammation-com...

In the chronic toxoplasmosis, the abnormality of tissue functionis little but, in acute toxoplasmosis, function of RES system becomes interrupted. The assessment oftoxoplasma antibody with tissue enzymes in this stage is very important. Furthermore, ...
